How can I be involved in the neighborhood?

NEIGHBORHOOD LITTER PICK-UP

Every six weeks, the Grant Neighborhood Association sponsors a litter pick-up in our area. We meet on the east side of Grant School near the intersection of Market and Winter Streets. The pick-ups are always on Saturday morning beginning at 9:00 am. You can help for as long as you want - 30 minutes, an hour, or all morning. Bags and plastic gloves are provided, along with disposal of the collected trash. The dates for 2008 are as follows:

3rd Meeting of Oaks Addition Historic District
June 18, 2008
6:00 - 8:00 pm
Courtyard Room
Salem Alliance Church

Judith Moore, City of Salem, has been rescheduled to make a presentation on the review process for the different types of applications in an historic district. She will also be available for questions and answers.
